A Reunion Event Celebrating 20 Years of Good Work in Detroit

Join City Institute and our friends as we party like it's 2006 on Thursday, May 7 at Firebird Tavern from 5-9 PM. This is a special reunion event to celebrate our community getting stuff done for Detroit for 20+ years. Your ticket includes appetizers, one drink ticket, music and lots of fun. Please join us and bring a friend!

Since 2006, City Institute and it’s predecessors have facilitated immersive tours and Learning Journeys for over 160,000 people. This event is not only celebrating 20 years of tours but also celebrating all those who have been doing the work in Detroit for the last 20 years and beyond: All the work that has brought the city to where it is today.

So if you remember before Facebook or the first iphone or just want to hang with folks that do, join us on May 7th!

Your ticket will directly support the continuation of City Institute's mission to help people understand and appreciate where they live and work. City Institute amplifies community leaders, critical organizations and small businesses, all while building community and connection throughout Detroit.
