Festival of Lights Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides
Line up your friends and family to fill the wagon and enjoy a private ride through the dazzling holiday light displays!
Dates: December 9th & 10th, 2025
Pricing:
- Standard Wagon — priced at $5 per person, sold as a private full-wagon rental
- Heated Wagon — priced at $7 per person, sold as a private full-wagon rental
(Example: if your wagon seats 12 people, the total price would be 12 × $5 = $60.)
Please park near the Carousel Building and alongside Museum A. Once parked, check in at the designated location (see map for Check-In area).
Riders must arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time. For the safety of guests and horses, seating is limited to the maximum number of riders permitted per wagon—this includes adults and children, even those seated on laps.
Route Notice:
This year’s Festival of Lights features a 2-mile display route, but the horse-drawn wagons will travel the original 1.5-mile route. This route has been used for many years and ensures the comfort and safety of both horses and riders. The South 40 expansion, which includes a steep incline, will not be part of the horse-drawn route.

Cancellation Policy:
An event can only be canceled by the venue and/or event organizer. If the venue or event organizer cancels an event, you will be refunded within 4 business days of the event date for your purchase.
